Pros and cons

Pros

  • Entry price of BRL 2,799.99 for a full-height duplex fridge in a class A energy rating
  • Range covers washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, allowing a full kitchen from one brand
  • Installation is offered, and the BRL 349.90 charge is stated separately and up front
  • Support runs through phone, help centre and chat for faults on major appliances
  • A named legal entity, BUD Comercio de Eletrodomesticos Ltda., sits behind the sales

Cons

  • Warranty cover runs 1 year, which is on the shorter side for a major appliance
  • Availability is limited to BR, so buyers outside Brazil have little to compare
  • Installation is offered but adds BRL 349.90 on top of the BRL 2,799.99 entry price
  • A single market focus in BR limits where servicing arrangements are described

How it compares on our data

Brastemp sits at 29 of 32 brands ranked on entry price, which places it towards the dearer part of the field rather than at the bargain end. On warranty length it ranks 15 of 30. Read together, the two ranks point the same way: a mainstream price paired with cover on the shorter side. Neither figure is an extreme, so buyers here are weighing ordinary trade-offs rather than looking at a standout bargain or a long commitment. Readers who put money first should weigh the higher entry price against what the cheaper ranked names offer for the same class of machine.

Core features

Warranty cover runs 1 year on the fridge listed, and installation is offered. The warranty period matters more than most other details here, since a compressor fault in a large fridge is an expensive repair and a replacement is a bigger outlay than the initial purchase. Having installation offered means the machine need not be positioned and connected by the buyer alone, which matters for a full-height duplex that weighs enough to need two people and a clear doorway.

Plans and prices

The entry price is BRL 2,799.99, and installation is priced separately at BRL 349.90. Nothing in the purchase carries a subscription or a contract term, so the amount to budget is the machine plus the install charge if you want it placed. Because the two figures are published side by side, the real cost of getting a fridge delivered and connected is visible before ordering rather than on an invoice afterwards. Budget for the install fee as a real part of the outlay, not a rounding item, and the delivery is the point at which the total becomes concrete.

The company behind it

Brastemp trades as BUD Comercio de Eletrodomesticos Ltda., based in Brazil. Support is offered through phone, help centre and chat, which covers phone, a help centre and chat. A named legal entity and published support routes are useful when something goes wrong, particularly for a large machine that sits in a kitchen rather than a device that can be returned in a parcel. The company name gives a clear party to deal with, and three support routes mean a question about a fault can be raised in whichever form suits the buyer.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Brastemp appliance cost?+

The entry price is BRL 2,799.99, with installation priced separately at BRL 349.90. Both figures sit on the same product listing, so the total cost of getting a machine delivered and placed can be worked out before you commit rather than discovered on the day. Compare that total against the sticker price alone when weighing offers against other brands.

How long is the Brastemp warranty?+

Warranty cover runs 1 year on the fridge listed, which is short for an appliance expected to stay in a kitchen for years. Buyers who keep a machine a long time often look at what extended cover costs before buying, and check whether the compressor is treated the same way as the rest of the unit.

Does Brastemp offer installation?+

Installation is offered, and it costs BRL 349.90 on top of the BRL 2,799.99 entry price. Anyone who wants the machine carried in, positioned and connected should add that fee to the budget rather than assume delivery is included. The fee is stated separately, so the final spend is the machine plus the install charge.

What types of appliance does Brastemp make?+

The range covers washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, so a full set of white goods can come from one maker. Fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, hobs, dryers and cookers all appear, which suits anyone fitting out a kitchen in one purchase and wanting one support route for every machine in the room.

Where is Brastemp sold?+

Brastemp operates in Brazil, with a home country of BR. Pricing, delivery and support arrangements are set for that single market, so anyone shopping outside it should confirm local availability first rather than assume an export version exists at the same entry price.

What size and energy class do Brastemp fridges come in?+

The fridge listed carries A energy class and 385 L of capacity, with a footprint of 176.6 x 62.1 x 72.1. Measure the space in the kitchen before ordering, since a duplex of that footprint needs a clear route through the door as well as floor room once it is in place.

How do I get support from Brastemp?+

Support runs through phone, help centre and chat, covering phone, a help centre and chat. Having several routes matters most when a fault affects something the household relies on daily, such as a fridge or a washing machine, and the buyer cannot easily take the appliance back to a shop to be looked at.

Which Brastemp models should I look at?+

Reference models on the current range include BRO88AK, BRE85MB, BRM46MB. Those names give a practical starting point for comparing sizes and layouts, since capacity and cabinet measurements differ between them. Check the listed dimensions against your kitchen space and the energy class against running costs before settling on one.
