What is Cloud plan?
In short
A cloud plan is the monthly subscription some camera brands charge for storing recordings and clips away from the device itself.
A cloud plan is the monthly fee some camera brands charge for keeping recordings, clips or live view in the cloud, separate from the price of the camera itself. Abode lists a cloud plan of $3.99 a month on its plans page, and AnywhereCam lists $6.95 a month on its pricing page. ANRAN's camera carries a cloud plan of $0, so its storage costs you nothing each month. Trade-off: a free plan often keeps shorter clips or fewer features than a paid one.
