Our verdict

Empava suits households fitting out or replacing a kitchen in US and CA, covering dishwasher, fridge and oven from an entry price of $177.59. The reference dishwasher holds 15 place settings, and the 2 year warranty plus the lack of an installation service are the two points to weigh.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A single brand covers dishwasher, fridge and oven, so a whole kitchen can be ordered in one place.
  • Reference models EMPV-24BDW51, EMPV-IDC12B2, EMPV-12GC29 give a concrete shortlist to start from.
  • Warranty years rank at 3 of 30 brands, stronger than the cover length alone suggests.
  • The reference dishwasher measures 65.1 x 60.7 x 86.1 cm, so cabinet fit can be checked before an order is placed.

Cons

  • Installation offered is no, so a built-in dishwasher, hob or cooker needs a fitter you arrange and pay for.
  • The warranty runs 2 years, so a fault appearing later is a cost you absorb.
  • Shipping covers US and CA, and buying outside that list falls outside the stated delivery scope.
  • Price from ranks 14 of 32 brands, so the entry price is competitive rather than the cheapest on the table.

Who it suits

  • Households fitting out or replacing a kitchen in US and CA who want every cooking category from one brand.
  • Buyers who read the spec before the badge, since the reference dishwasher holds 15 place settings and measures 65.1 x 60.7 x 86.1 cm.
  • Shoppers comfortable arranging their own fitting, given installation offered is no.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Anyone refitting laundry and cooking together: Bauknecht lists washing machines and dryers in washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, which Empava's dishwasher, fridge and oven does not cover.
  • Buyers who want the maker to fit the appliance, since installation offered is no. Hoover covers the same cooking categories in cooker, dishwasher and dryer and is the alternative to compare on who handles fitting.
  • Shoppers buying a long service life in the kitchen: a 2 year warranty leaves any later fault to the owner, and Exquisit, which lists the same cooking categories in washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, is worth weighing on cover length.

Core features

The offer rests on two things: a warranty of 2 years and no installation service. Installation offered is listed as no, so a built-in appliance arrives as a boxed unit rather than something fitted and connected. For hard-wired kitchen hardware that shifts real cost onto the fitter you book yourself and onto getting the connection right. The 2 year term is the cover period to plan around, so keep the receipt and model details handy in case a fault appears inside it. Anything built in also means measuring the opening before the unit is ordered.

How it compares on our data

Our comparison data places Empava at 14 of 32 brands on price from, and at 3 of 30 brands on warranty years. Read together, the ranks say a brand priced low enough to keep the checkout predictable and carrying cover long enough to be worth holding on to, while the mid table position on price also means better known names sit both above and below it here. Neither rank makes the entry figure decisive on its own.

The company behind it

Empava is based in the US. That one fact sets the scene for delivery, paperwork and who you deal with when something needs replacing. Support runs on email, phone and chat, so there are written routes, a phone line, live chat and a self-service library for setup questions. For fitted kitchen products that mix matters, because the maker is the party on the call rather than an installer or a retailer.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Empava kitchen appliance cost?+

Kitchen appliances start at $177.59. That figure is the entry point for the range rather than for a single model, and it covers the categories in dishwasher, fridge and oven, so a dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob or cooker can all be bought under the same maker. Check the price on the exact model you want, because entry points differ by category.

How long is the warranty on Empava appliances?+

The published warranty is 2 years across the range. In our comparison that length ranks at 3 of 30 brands on warranty years, a strong position for kitchen appliances. Keep your receipt and model details, since claims are handled by the maker rather than a dealer.

Does Empava offer installation?+

Installation offered is listed as no. A built-in dishwasher, hob or cooker therefore arrives as a boxed unit, and the fitting, connection and any new pipework are yours to arrange. Before ordering a built-in model, compare 65.1 x 60.7 x 86.1 cm with the gap under your counter or inside your cabinet run.

Which countries does Empava ship to?+

The shipping policy names US and CA, and the company is based in the US. Buyers outside those markets sit outside the stated shipping scope, so confirm delivery and lead times for your own address before committing to a bulky built-in appliance. Inside those markets the kitchen range ships as one catalogue.

How do I get help from Empava support?+

Support runs on email, phone and chat, so email, phone, chat and a help centre are all open to you. Written routes suit setup questions on a dishwasher or hob, while the phone line is the one that matters when a fitted appliance stops mid cycle. With no installer named, the maker is your first and last stop.

What size are the reference Empava models?+

The reference dishwasher holds 15 place settings and measures 65.1 x 60.7 x 86.1 cm. The reference models named in the kitchen collection are EMPV-24BDW51, EMPV-IDC12B2, EMPV-12GC29, which show the shape of the range before you browse. Those figures come from a single appliance, so check each model listing for anything you plan to fit.

Does Empava make washing machines or dryers?+

Empava covers dishwasher, fridge and oven, all kitchen and cooking categories. Laundry is the gap: Bauknecht lists washing machines and dryers in washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, and Hoover does the same in cooker, dishwasher and dryer. If the laundry room is part of the same refit, one of those two names is the place to look.

Where is Empava based?+

The brand is based in the US rather than in Europe, and its catalogue ships to US and CA. That shapes delivery windows, paperwork and the route for replacement parts. For any market outside those countries, check the shipping policy for your own address before ordering.
