What is Resolution max?

Resolution max is the top video resolution a brand states for its cameras, written as a number with a letter such as p or k. Ajax Systems is the highest in this group at 4k. ADT lists 2k, Alder 2k and AlfredCamera 2k, while Abode is the lowest here at 1080p. Higher resolution gives finer detail on faces and number plates, but it also fills storage faster and expects a stronger network. Weigh it against field of view and night performance, which this figure does not tell you, and against how much recording history you want to keep.
